Every visitor passes an age confirmation, accounts may be asked to verify age, and any account found to involve a minor is removed and reported to the appropriate authorities. If you ever suspect someone is under 18, report it immediately — this is the one rule with zero tolerance and no second chances.
You Can Always Leave
Every conversation on JoyChat is one tap away from ending — no explanation owed, no penalty, no awkwardness. If a chat feels off, boring, pushy, or simply done, leave. Leaving early is not rude here; it’s how the space stays comfortable. The people worth talking to are the ones who respect a goodbye.
Reporting and Blocking
If someone crosses a line — harassment, pressure, scams, recording you without consent, anything involving minors — use the in-conversation report and block tools. Reports go to human review, and confirmed violations lead to suspension or removal. Blocking is immediate and silent: the other person can’t contact you again.
Protect What’s Yours
- Keep personal details — full name, address, workplace, financial info — out of early conversations.
- Never send money, gift cards, or “emergency” help to someone you met online, however sweet the story.
- Be mindful of what’s visible on camera behind you: mail, documents, house numbers, uniforms.
- Move at your own pace. Anyone rushing you toward another platform, a payment, or private photos is a red flag.
Etiquette for Real Human Interaction
The culture here is warm on purpose, and it’s kept by small habits: show up as yourself, on camera. Say hi like a person, not a script. Flirtation is welcome once it’s earned by actual conversation — and a “no” or a goodbye lands the first time. Never record or screenshot someone without their consent.
